The quintessence of our Wines
The grapes used in these wines are produced by our organic winegrowers who use natural methods to combat disease. Environmental impacts are limited and the organic balance of the soil is maintained.

This terrain is largely composed of sand, gravel and pebbles, swept down to the mouth of the Munster Valley with the melting of the Vosges glaciers. These soils tend to produce wines with an elegant bouquet.
Since 1959, we have been vinifying Gewurztraminer grapes grown on the gravely soils of the Turckheim plain and this gave birth to this wine.

This granite slope which overlooks the medieval town of Turckheim enjoys an amazing amount of sunshine. According to legend, it was on this "terre de feu" that a battle took place between a dragon and the sun. The wines from the Brand are distinguished by their great elegance, balance and finesse.
The slopes of exposed granite at the entrance to the Munster Valley around the villages of Zimmerbach, Walbach and Wihr au Val give the wines of this area their liveliness and freshness with added mineral notes.
